Hey, Teacher Friend!
I am most often asked, “What curriculum do you use? How did you decide?” Well this topic, LIGHTS ME UP! We all know that the DEATH TRAP of a teacher’s JOY is not being able to teach what we feel matters or makes a difference in our students' lives! Teaching to standards and measures beyond our means can lead to stealing our joy and ultimately destroys the love for what we do!
Have you ever said, "The curriculum we follow doesn’t allow us to XYZ. Your child is performing well below grade level and the curriculum is going at such a pace, it increasing the gap further." or "The curriculum or the standards causing us to be “trapped” in a box!"
Well, it's absolutely liberating to know that YOU GET TO CHOOSE the curriculum for your micro-school or homeschool! Today we focus on high value education, choosing curriculum with meaning and knowing "Why" we are choosing a certain method or movement to ensure we are teaching with passion and expertise!

Hey, Teacher Friend!
"Help! I am NOT a salesman...I am a Teacher!" This is what I hear often when I speak with teachers who are anticipating their first micro-school opening, and are afraid to get his/her first clients/students. They often ask, "How Do I find my first set of students? What do I do? I need action steps!" I can relate. I felt the same way! But the good news is...there is no need to fear, act "salesy", or hustle to find your first paying clients.
In today's episode, I discuss the action steps I took to take the scare out of trying to start a business and then go find your clients. Advertising is an important part to opening your doors and ensuring students come. However, it's not the hardest part of this journey-it's the most rewarding. If you think I stood out on the street with signs, or had banners waving outside my house...no! I didn’t have a yard sign.
I used THE MOST powerful tool to get our fabulous students-one in which we all have. Tune in to see what it is!

Wouldn't it be great if everyone went to work loving work and feeling fulfilled in completing the mission they have laid before them. Isn't it THE GOAL? If you have lost your teaching passion, but you truly want to do what you have always dreamed of (teaching)... Listen up!
Today I'll be sharing the number one, most important strategy you must take action with before beginning your micro-school or homeschooling business! It's the most important, foundational piece that allows you to gain clarity and momentum in meeting your goals and fulfilling your destiny with this business.
I get so many teachers ask me really great questions such as “How do I find clients? What curriculum do I choose? How much do you charge? How did you set up LLC? Tuition? School Day?” Those are important. But they are not the MOST important.
We need to become obsessed with this piece of advice today in order to restore our passion and change the course of our course of life and career. Today, you will hopefully be able to find your passion and amplify it.

Hey, teacher friend!
Want to know the most common statement I receive from teachers? "I don't want to keep doing what I'm doing, but I feel so stuck! I know I'm just comfortable and afraid to make a change." I know this for myself as well. However, I will say this...the comfort zone is a sneaky, silent trap to keep us away from our purpose and destiny. We must be aware!
In today's episode I share the advice I've received to push through the comfort zone. We will get unstuck and gain momentum to do the hard and scary things! Even if you hear yourself saying, "What if I make a change in my career and I don't like it? This is too hard! I don't know what to do! How do I push through when I am tired or overwhelmed?" Today you'll be able to pry yourself out of the comfort zone with these 3 ideas!
